Every job can be a project, with a budget, planned and tracked hours and a progress bar. The timer runs on the task, each hour carries a category and a billable flag, and it later becomes an invoice line item.
Incoming and partial payments hang on the invoice, and the list shows due date and status. If a payment does not arrive, dunning works with levels, fees and interest and shows the overdue total at a glance.

Yes. The timer runs on a task and a project, and every entry carries a category and a billable flag. When you write the invoice you take the hours over as line items, with the rate of the service in question. Hours that were already invoiced are locked, so nothing lands on a second invoice.
Yes. Tax rates and sales-tax regulations are configurable, among them the German small-business rule and the reverse charge. The rule belongs to the document.
You book another seat and everything stays where it is. Roles come as presets from viewer through editor to manager, plus possession scopes for access to your own or assigned records. You adjust the number of seats in the licence settings, and there is no data migration to do.
