Contracts in one spreadsheet, hours in a second, invoices in the accountant's tool? cashwerk keeps clients, projects, time and invoices in one data model: from the first request to the incoming payment.
In short
cashwerk is the business platform for IT service providers, system houses and managed service companies: clients and requests in the CRM, client projects with a board and time tracking, maintenance and support as recurring invoices, GoBD-compliant invoices from tracked hours. Role presets decide who sees which client data, and the REST API and webhooks connect your own systems. EU hosting, GDPR, GoBD, and 1 user free forever.
Six steps from the request to the incoming payment, with no tool switch in between.
Contact, company and history in one place, requests as deals in a pipeline of their own.
Reusable line items with quantity, unit price and margin, accepted through a public link.
The order becomes a client project: tasks in columns, owners, documents on the project.
Timer or manual entry, flagged billable, and if you want it signed off as a performance record.
Project hours become an invoice, maintenance and support keep running as recurring invoices.
Match payments, chase overdue invoices, hand documents over to Lexware or sevDesk.
The typical problems in your field – and how cashwerk solves them.
Maintenance and support contracts are re-issued by hand every month
A recurring invoice with rhythm, line items and recipient. The invoices are created automatically after that, booked and sent from your own mailbox if you like.
Hours end up in spreadsheets, and half of them are missing at billing time
A timer on project and task, flagged billable. When you invoice from time, cashwerk makes sure the same hour never lands on an invoice twice.
Nobody knows which client actually leaves a margin
The project cockpit shows revenue, cost and hours per project, the project metrics show profitability and status.
Client data sits in tools where everyone can see everything
Role presets from viewer to manager, plus possession scopes. The same permissions apply in the app and through the API.
The functions that matter in your day-to-day.
Contacts, companies, portfolios and tags. Several pipelines for requests and existing business from the Starter plan.
One project per client with a board, tasks, subtasks and comments, documents on the project tab.
Timer, manual entry, categories and hourly rates. A performance record signed on the phone.
Repeating services on a fixed rhythm, with the expected recurring revenue in the overview.
Create services and materials once and reuse them as line items in quotes and invoices.
Presets for viewer, editor and manager, possession scopes per team, multiple locations on the Business plan.
A recurring invoice fixes rhythm, line items and recipient once and writes the invoices by itself from then on. Project work is billed next to it by effort or as a fixed price from the quote.
The hand-off to Lexware or sevDesk belongs to the Business plan. The DATEV posting batch exports from Starter.

Tasks, hours and costs hang on the same project as the client. The cockpit keeps counting while the team works, instead of at the end of the month.

Roles come as presets: viewer, editor, manager. Plus possession scopes that limit access to your own records or your own team.
The usual bundle of a specialist tool, a spreadsheet and an invoicing program, and what of it collapses into cashwerk.
One system, one login, one data model. 1 user free forever, then from 14 € per user and month on the Starter plan.
Projects, tasks and open items: the views an IT team spends its day in.

No. A service desk with tickets, SLA clocks and escalations is not part of the product, and we don't pretend otherwise. You run requests as deals in a pipeline of their own or as tasks on a board, both with owners, comments and time tracking. If your ticketing system should stay, you connect it to cashwerk through the REST API and webhooks.
Maintenance, support and hosting run as recurring invoices: you set rhythm, line items and recipient once, and the invoices are created automatically after that, booked and sent from your own mailbox if you like. Project work is billed from tracked hours or as a fixed price from the quote, long projects through a chain of progress invoices up to the final invoice.
Only if you want that. Roles come as presets for viewer, editor and manager and can be adjusted per area, possession scopes narrow access further to your own records or your own team. The same permissions apply in the app, through the REST API and in the AI assistant.
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. API keys are available in every plan, the requests per minute depend on your plan: 10 on the free plan, 100 on Starter, 1000 on Business. Webhooks are available from the Starter plan, plus an n8n node and an MCP server for AI clients.
Yes. Tracked time becomes a performance record that the client signs on site on a phone. The record stays on the project, and when you invoice, cashwerk makes sure the same hour never lands on an invoice twice.
Yes. Every area works on its own, and all areas are included in every plan. The differences are limits and extras: e-invoicing, dunning and the hand-off to Lexware or sevDesk belong to the Business plan, webhooks, report exports and the AI assistant start on the Starter plan.
