The switch starts with a CSV file
Contacts and companies from the old CRM, from spreadsheets or from an export: everything that can do CSV comes into cashwerk.
You upload the file, Casper maps the columns to fields, you check the preview. The duplicate check shows before the import which rows already exist. Tags from the file are found or created, external IDs stay on the record.
A second file updates existing records via the external reference instead of duplicating them – useful while the old system still runs in parallel. Large files are processed in chunks.
CSV import is included in every plan; the free plan has room for 2,000 contacts and 2,000 companies. AI column mapping is available from the Starter plan and costs 3 credits per file. Export as CSV or PDF is also available from Starter. Casper answers questions about your data and creates contacts, tasks or appointments on request – you approve every write before it runs.
