Workflows without your own API integration
Many flows between systems do not need code, they need a connection: an event in cashwerk, an action elsewhere – or the other way round. That is exactly what the cashwerk node for n8n delivers.
The node is generated from the same OpenAPI specification that describes the REST API and the MCP server. When an endpoint changes, the node is regenerated. You always work with the fields the API currently knows – without maintaining mapping tables.
Two node types cover most cases. The trigger node starts a workflow as soon as cashwerk sends an event. The action node creates, reads or updates records. In between sit the nodes of the other services your team already uses.
The node only needs an API key from your cashwerk settings. Whether n8n runs in the cloud or on your own infrastructure makes no difference. The rate limits of your plan apply; the platform page has the details.
